Panchayat begins campaign for Clean Kangundi to Welcome Bouldering, Climbing & Rappelling Tourists<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A positive change is underway in the quiet serene inselberg village of Kangundi; people have got together to take the first baby step towards bouldering\/ climbing tourism i.e., make Kangundi clean cum litter, plastic and graffiti free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the leadership of Shri PS Munirathnam Garu (FaceBook<\/a>) of Telugu Desam Party (Twitter\/X<\/a>), Prof Chokkalingam (FaceBook<\/a> & Instagram<\/a>) Garu, Prof Shyamala Garu of Dravidian University (website<\/a>) and Sarpanch Dhanasekhar Garu (FaceBook<\/a>), people of Kangundi have initiated a Swachh Kangundi Campaign to rid their village of litter, plastic, and graffiti. The role of social media influencers like Vicky (FaceBook <\/a>& Instagram<\/a>) in this has been very supportive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next steps after achieving Swachh Kangundi are to educated and train people as host of homestays and as guides and emergency aid workers of bouldering, climbing and rappelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
