Swami Datta Padanand Ji of Mahavatar Babaji TadEkam Foundation during his 13-15 Novemeber 2025 visit to Kangundi, Kuppam in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh declared that the Kangundi Inselberg (pile of large boulders/ rocks jutting out in a plain area) is a Living Shivling with vibes/ energy nearly similar to that of Mount Kailash.
Swami Dattapadanand Ji made his maiden visit to Kangundi- the site of TadEkam’s sewa to introduce homestay based adventure tourism (bouldering, climbing, rock-climbing) in Kuppam- from 13 to 15 November 2025. While addressing the villagers in the Shri Virupaksha Temple on 13 November 2025, Swami Ji announced that the Kangundi Inselberg is a LIVING SHIVLING with vibes/ energy similar to that of Mount Kailash. Swami Ji added that Lord Shiva is inviting his children (us) to do climbing/ bouldering/ trekking on himself as He can then absorb our negativity. So, we welcome all climbers, boulderers and rock-climbers to participate in the first ever Kangundi Bouldering Festival 6-10 January 2026 and the Kangundi Climbing Cup 8-9 January 2026. Besides this Holy Kangundi Shivling, there are over 300 virgin boulders and 20 virgin rock-faces for opening/ topping out.
