Posters of Kangundi Bouldering Festival 6-10 January 2026 and of Kangundi Climbing Cup 8 & 9 January 2026 with total prize money of INR 2 lakhs
The Kangundi Bouldering Festival being conducted from 6th to 10th January 2026 is the first such event in Andhra Pradesh. The aim is to promote homestay based bouldering and climbing in Kuppam Tehsil of Chittoor District. This Festival is being supported by Andhra Pradesh Govt, Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Collector Chittoor, Kuppam Area Development Authority and the people of Kangundi.
The Festival will include three mini fests viz; Valmiki Tribal Fest in Motla Chenu, Coconut Fest in Peddavanka and Marigold Fest in Kathimanapalli. Every day, participants will be exposed to various cultural facets of Kangundi using local talent and day and night wildlife treks.
IMPORTANT:- TadEkam will also give 200 free bolts to expert climbers to bold new climbing routes in Kangundi – Kuppam during the Festival.
PRIZE MONEY TOTAL PRIZE MONEY INR 2 LAKHS
Festival:- The prize money in the festival for best photo and video and for maximum entries in the Kangundi Bouldering/ Climbing Guidebooks Vol 2 is INR 1 LAKH.
Climbing Cup:- The prize money for the competition is nearly another INR 1 LAKH.
