Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Lends Full Support for Kangundi Bouldering Festival & Climbing Cup
Shri Rajasekhar Chairman APEWIDC and Smt Sai Sudha of Mahavatar Babaji TadEkam Foundation visited the office of Hon’ble Tourism Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Kandula Durgesh Garu to discuss the details of Kangundi Bouldering Festival and Climbing Cup 2026. They thanked him for his support and invited the Hon’ble Minister to the Festival, which he kindly accepted.
The Hon’ble Minister has provided all requisite support to Regional Tourism Officer Tirupati Dr Ramana Prasad, Collector Chittoor Shri Sumit Kumar, IAS and Project Director of Kuppam Area Development Authority Shri Vikas Marmat, IAS for the festival. These officials in-turn have provided full support to TadEkam and to the people of Kangundi for the successful conduct of Andhra Pradesh’s first ever bouldering festival and climbing cup. This collaborate effort under Hon’ble Chief Minister’s paradigm P4 Strategy will surely put Kangundi – Kuppam on the World Tourism Maps. TadEkam is also working to get Indian Mountaineering Federation to recognize Kangundi – Kuppam as India’s newest climbing site and to help in judging the Kangundi Climbing Cup Competition being held on 8th and 9th January 2026.
