Approach Street to Kangundi Fort Painted as Heritage Street

The people of Kangundi began to paint their village’s first Heritage Walk Street in August 2025 with the help of Shri Vikas Marmat (IAS) https://www.instagram.com/vikas_ias.13?igsh=bWdwczA4bWNwM3A4 Project Director of Kuppam Area Development Authority https://www.instagram.com/pd_kada?igsh=MTczODV1cG55cmY3ZQ== and Mahavatar Babaji Tadekam Foundation https://www.instagram.com/tadekam.foundation?igsh=MTB6bjFraTNzNGNwcQ==. The 200 meters long street takes off from the state highway to the Fort near the selfie point ‘I Love Kangundi’ dedicated to the village on 15 August.
The initial design was made by Shri Ashish Bhole, https://www.instagram.com/bhole_ashish?igsh=MWJ2ZGd0bXJ1emFkbQ== Architect and member of TadEkam after discussions with Shri PS Muniratnam Garu https://www.facebook.com/share/1HUKPswdVg/, Sarpanch Dhanasekhar, Vice President of Panchayat Shri Thirupati, the Panchayat and people of the affected mohalla.
Thereafter, Suchi from Vijaywada https://www.instagram.com/suchendous?igsh=YzhyM3N3ZmdvOWw0 and local painters and his team of painters worked on it, to include actual painting of the walls of the houses.

In order to get the people to take ownership of the project, they were invited to paint their own houses and school kids were called to print their hands on one of the walls. This cuteness loaded reel by Vicky of Kuppam Diaries https://www.instagram.com/kuppam_diaries?igsh=Mjd2bTZiYXBlendj posted by Sanjay Vishwasrao at https://www.instagram.com/reel/DN-tyqXE6z3/?igsh=MWo0MXd1YXVvbWZkMw== got nearly 25,000 views.

Super excited and can’t wait to be a part of all this during the upcoming Bouldering festival in January 2026.
